Pipework, done neatly
Pipework you’re happy to look at. We run copper straight and level, bend it cleanly, clip it properly and plan it so it looks like part of the design, whether it’s on show under a boiler or hidden in the walls.
Pipework, done properly
Good pipework is something customers notice and mention, and it’s something we take real pride in. Straight runs, matching bends, even spacing and proper clips aren’t just about looks: neat pipework is easier to maintain, easier to trace if there’s ever a problem, and less likely to leak.
We fit new runs for boilers, cylinders, radiators, bathrooms and kitchens, and re-route old pipework that’s in the way, leaking or simply ugly. Where pipes need to be hidden, we plan the route to keep disruption low.
Have a look at the photos on this page and on our Instagram. That’s the standard we work to on every job, not just the ones we photograph.

When to think about pipework
A messy tangle under the boiler
Old pipework added to over the years can be tidied and simplified, often when the boiler is changed.
Damp patches or stains
A slow leak in a wall, floor or ceiling needs finding and fixing before it causes damage.
Banging or knocking pipes
Loose clips, water hammer or expansion noise can usually be cured.
Pipes in the way
Need a pipe moved for a new kitchen, a doorway or a fitted wardrobe? We re-route it properly.
Frozen pipes in winter
Pipes in lofts, garages and outside walls need insulating before the cold sets in.
Old lead pipework
Older homes can still have lead supply pipes. Replacing them is worth doing.
How a job runs
No surprises. Here’s what happens from your first message to the finished job.
Look at the route
We see where the pipes need to go and what’s in the way, and agree whether they’ll be on show or hidden.
Quote
A written quote, including any making good.
Fit
Copper cut, bent and joined cleanly, with clips at even spacing and runs kept straight and level.
Pressure test
New pipework is tested for leaks before it’s covered up or put into use.
Finish
Lagging where needed, everything labelled if it helps, and the area cleaned.

Pipework: your questions answered
The things people ask us most. If yours isn’t here, just message us.
Why do you use copper pipework?
Copper is durable, looks smart when it’s on show and is easy to repair. We use plastic where it genuinely suits the job, such as long hidden runs under floors, and we’ll explain the choice.
Can you tidy up the pipes under my boiler?
Yes. It’s easiest when the boiler is being replaced, but we can re-do messy pipework on its own as well.
I think I have a leaking pipe in the wall or ceiling. What should I do?
Turn the water off at the stopcock, switch off any electrics near the leak if it’s safe to do so, catch the water and call us. Our guide to leaks explains the first steps.
Can you stop my pipes banging?
Usually, yes. Banging is often caused by loose pipes, water hammer when a tap or appliance shuts off quickly, or expansion in heating pipes. We find the cause and fix it.
Do you replace lead pipes?
Yes, we replace old lead pipework inside the home with copper or suitable modern pipe.
We cover Faversham, Canterbury, Whitstable, Herne Bay, Thanet (Margate, Broadstairs and Ramsgate), Sandwich, Deal, Dover, Folkestone, Ashford and Sittingbourne, and the villages and areas in between. See the areas we cover.
